PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN DAN KHOTBAH TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN IMAN JEMAAT GEREJA PENTAKOSTA INDONESIA SIDANG PARSAORAN

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of pastoral leadership and sermons on the faith growth of the congregation at the Indonesian Pentecostal Church Sidang Parsaoran. Employing a descriptive correlational method, the research involved 38 congregants as a randomly selected sample from a population of 250. Data underwent normality and linearity tests prior to hypothesis analysis. The findings indicate that pastoral leadership significantly influences congregational faith growth by 66.7%. Sermons also demonstrate a significant influence, contributing 72.3% to the congregation's faith growth. Furthermore, pastoral leadership and sermons collectively have a significant impact of 72.9% on the congregation's faith growth. These results confirm that both variables positively and significantly contribute to the enhancement of congregational faith.
